Makai Lemon compared to some of the NFL’s best receivers. Should be the receiver we draft if we go that route in the first round.

  1. We keep going down by 3 scores in the first and no way a #2 rookie receiver is gonna bail us out

  2. WR should not be out the picture like fans are saying. There are three really talented WRs we can take, Terry isn’t getting any younger and aside from him we have NOBODY and it’s a huge weakness on the team. There is a scenario where Downs/Bain are out and at that point it should just be BPA

  3. Don’t worry the rest of the fanbase gonna understand his greatness soon

  4. Drafting on a single metric is dumb whether it’s yards per route run or a 40 time

  5. Let’s see how free agency plays out on the defensive side before I say no way to this.  Cuz folks were apoplectic that we would pay a 30yr old WR, who managed to promptly get hurt.  And Terry’s extension is front loaded, so needing to replace him might be sooner than folks think.

But yes, my gut response is to go defense in the first.

  6. receiver at 7 and signing phillips in free agency is better than bain or bailey at 7 and free agent receiver. just not high on these edges just go bpa

  7. We found Terry in the 3rd Round. Our First Round WR picks have been pretty meh since the 90s. While Westbrook had talent, he was always hurt and had personal issues. Before that goes back to Desmond Howard and Art Monk.

  8. I like Lemon but hypothetically if Bain, Bailey, and Downs are available at 7 is Lemon really BPA? Hard to make that argument imo.

  9. lol who is eskidge?

Seems like 2 are studs. 1 is a stud on a team that has a qb that doesn’t use him to his full powers. 1 is a quality player but I really don’t know much about him

  10. We need help all over the place. The only positions I would be genuinely upset to use our 1st round pick on would be O-Line, QB, or Punter/Kicker. As long as the talent matches the pick number, I’d be happy with any other position.

  11. I’d be perfectly fine going WR but if it’s Lemon it needs to be after a trade down, there’s 2 other WRs that might be on the board that are more highly rated. We need to do what the eagles do and just take the consensus highest rated player, BPA as long as it’s not QB, K, or  P. Even if it’s the tackle out of Miami. We need blue chippers and we can’t afford any more whiffs.

There will be blue chip options at #7 so if we trade down the haul needs to be great and we can’t miss out on a blue chipper. If we are high on lemon, trade down, and then miss him by trading down to far, we will be in trouble because the WR talent after him falls drastically.

  12. Honest to god ive been saying it for weeks man if he’s there i would be hard pressed to pass up on this kid

  13. We cannot afford to take a wr at 7. It’d be malpractice with our league worst talent on defense.

There are several wrs in the running for best in class and some pretty good second teir options. The only way I’m ok with taking one is via a trade down, and I’m prolly still going defense in rd 1.

  14. Fun fact, the seahawks drafted eskridge instead of creed humphrey, when center was their biggest need…

  15. Cut eskridge out the graphic and it starts to looks really convincing. Seriously though I like lemon
