Does it blow anyone else’s mind to learn that jacob deGrom will be 38 fucking years old this year? I had no fucking idea. I don’t know why but I thought he was 32 or 33.

Is there a reason Expectations ’26 threads aren’t scheduled at all this week? The early schedule for that series always seems to get messed up

Happy National League Sequicentennial!
The 50-day mark before the official 157th Opening Weekend of Major League Baseball is now upon us all.
For in just 50 days from now all 30 MLB member teams from its two divisions will begin play for its six month regular season, full of exciting events and the exciting gameday atmosphere and stadium traditions, culture and fan experience that awaits all of us fans, as well as all the players.
This coming season of the world’s oldest existing pro league constitutes a new chapter in its storied history dating from 1869, with events held not just in the USA and Canada but overseas, as well as extraordinary events held outside these stadiums.
Opening Day of the MLB is coming fast, and thus our sport awaits the day of the opening of its flagship league with much anticipation.

Does anyone know what happened to The Athletic’s baseball shows? They used to all post on Spotify under the name “The Windup” but there hasn’t been anything in over a month.
