John Harbaugh worked under Andy Reid in Philadelphia, and Harbaugh mentioned in his opening press conference that he sought advice from Reid. Now, Harbaugh turns back to the Andy Reid coaching tree by hiring Matt Nagy as his offensive coordinator in New York.

  6. If part of the criteria was play calling experience as an OC, at Palmyra Area High School, we really did get the most qualified candidate.

  8. This is a dumb move by Harbaugh. Incredibly disappointed, to say the least. So all that talk at his press conference about having innovative methods and ideas was a load of shit because Nagy is possibly in the top three worst, least innovative OCs in the game.

  11. The thing with Nagy is that he runs a very generic offense, he runs a west coast offense but a very conservative version, not like the McVay/Shanahan version. Meaning the Giants offense will be pretty boring to watch next season. I was hoping for a more unique cool offense to watch next season. Look how the Chiefs went from the most exciting offense to a dink and dunk boring offense they have been for the last 3 seasons.

  12. I don’t give a fuck about who Harbaugh worked under. Hiring Nagy is completely unacceptable. Giants have a star in the making with Dart and he’s going to regress with this absolute fucking doorknob running the offense.

  16. Uninspiring but I’m not going to have a full blown meltdown. He was a terrible HC in Chicago but his offense did make Trubisky look above average for a couple years. The Chiefs offense the past year or two is a bit of a concern though..

    I’m also skeptical but I’ll wait and see what happens before I totally dismiss the signing
