In a statement shared by @koacolorado, former Denver Broncos quarterback Drew Lock expressed his appreciation for the fans in Denver. Lock stated:
"I appreciate the ones that have my back. It wasn't always great. There’s a lot of great moments, couple tough moments. But I felt the love from the city of Denver."

I still remember that comeback against the Chargers he led years ago where we won 31-30

I’m happy with Bo now, obviously, but I’m curious what Drew’s career would have looked like if we kept a consistent offensive coordinator and let him develop.
I really wanted Drew to work out
He was a victim of circumstance. If we had any semblance of organizational stability it’s possible we could have developed him better. He genuinely seemed to care and give us his all.
I’ve no ill will towards Lock.
It’s one of many reasons I want the Hawks to win but it would be really cool for Lock to get a ring.
Yeah Drew was a grinder .. just ask the chargers 🤣🧡💙🧡💙🧡
Denver is a great city. I imagine there aren’t many guys that leave after a stint and don’t miss the place at least some.
No other city in the US I’d rather live in.
Hey remember last year when he had that shootout against Joe Flacco that helped us get to the playoffs. Get your ring bud.
i’d rather him then stiddy’s “2 hand” throws lmao
Broncos fans… I love our community. But man, we get these undeserved man crushes and these very undeserved beliefs that result in undeserved unshakeable support. The dude could throw deep and hard. Great. He had physical tools. But he rolled out to his right and only to his right like… All the time. And reading the field? No. The game was too fast for him. He might be a Kubiak type QB. But even in that type of system, he’s unfortunately predictable. Backup material with high backup upside. But not someone you can rely on for 17+ games.
Only positive thing I have to say about Drew Lock is that he is a better backup QB option than Stidham..
I remember he went 4-1 in his first 5 starts and then they fired Scangs lol. Not that I think Scangs was some offensive savant but that just showed how idiotically the front office was running at the time.
Drew sucked ass, who cares about this dancing clown
He was no $wag Kelly, but he had some moments
And I love Drew
Hope he comes back one day to back up Bo🤞🏼
Drew Lock reminded me a lot of a young John Elway who flashed a lot less times than ol 7.
With that being said, those flashes are what made Elway Elway so I can understand why Lock is a backup.
We will always have that magical day in December in Houston
I bet Bo doesn’t violate COVID rules and get suspended and force us to use a wr as a QB.
Didn’t he meet his smoking hot wife here? So, yeah. Of course.

Having seen him with other teams now we know he wouldn’t have developed into a solid starter. But he got off to about as bad a start for a project QB as you could imagine. His injury rookie year was not very serious, but they put him on IR so he couldn’t even practice or be with the team. When it was clear Flacco was struggling or hurt we could have been giving Lock some reps early but we held him out until way late in the season. Then we changed OCs (to Shurmur, ugh), and with covid he had essentially no off-season or preseason, going into the year as a starter with a new offense that was also a huge knock for his development. I won’t say that Lock was significantly better than Bridgewater, but you could tell by year 3 Fangio knew he was hanging onto his job by a thread and wanted a vet QB instead of going with Lock.
We never seemed to really invest in him. But I also don’t think that even if we had that he would have turned out significantly better to the point where we wouldn’t have tried to trade for Russ
Does Drew wanna come back up Bo? I’d be ok with that.
I love us too, Drew.
One of My favorite drew lock memories was a training camp video that came out where he was just draining 3 pointers and the rest of the team was getting super excited after each one he made
