[Windhorst] The Cleveland Cavaliers have reached out to: Milwaukee about Giannis Antetokounmpo, Dallas about Anthony Davis, and LA about James Harden.

  1. I have no idea what a Cavs package for Davis would look like. Any ideas? Doubt it’s good!

  2. If that phone rings for AD just do it man. Let’s move on. There’s very little value to be extracted from AD. Wish him the best but I want off this ride.

  3. I read a rumor story this morning and thought the mavs were getting RJ Barrett, a FRP, and some filler for AD. My first thought was that Barrett averages 17 pts a game, which is 17 more than we’re getting out of AD most nights.

  4. Don’t see how this works. They’re $13.8M over the second apron, so they can’t aggregate players in a swap. And if Garland moves for Harden, their only other big salary players are Mobley and Allen. Neither of which are within the range needed for a 1 for 1 deal.

That being said, make it happen. Somehow.

  5. Would have to be a 3rd team involved. Can’t get a trade to even work between the 2.

  6. Garland is going to LA for Harden. I have no idea how an AD deal would work otherwise. Allen will be in it, but they don’t have any other salary to complete the deal. That’s why I don’t believe in AD and the Cavs.

Allen and Garland for AD and DLo would work, but that would be really stupid of the Cavs.
