[Pelissero] The Bucs agreed to terms with Chandler Whitmer as their quarterbacks coach. Whitmer, 34, spent last season Indiana’s co-OC/QB coach, developing Heisman Trophy winner Fernando Mendoza on the way to a national title. He had multiple NFL offers but chose Tampa.

  1. I hope he says that he chose Tampa over other teams because he likes Todd Bowles, just to shut yall up

  2. I LOVE this.

He worked with Zac Robinson in Atlanta, so this is a great hire already. Not even looking at the insane run Indiana had this past season.

He was also an assistant in LA working with Herbert in 2021-2023, and Ohio State and Clemson (Fields and Trevor Lawrence) in 2019-2020.

This is all Zach, but solid signing.

Note: this has the makings of a 2027 Zach Robinson HC, Chandler Whitmer OC coaching staff if Bowles gets canned.
