  1. Too many bad shooting nights. Too many turnovers by Jokic. He looked substantially better in the second half, hopefully a good sign. CB looks fine physically, played good defense but was just a non-factor offensively. Great night by Strawther, only guy who ran the fast break correctly.

  2. Jokic looked way better in the 2nd half, which is good. Above all else, I just want people to remember that the nuggets had much worse stretches and losses in the chip year while healthy. Don’t panic. Also for anyone dooming about the thunder being unbeatable, we were 18 wins worse than them last year while being at least relatively healthy, and took them to 7 in the playoffs still. They should be more scared of us in the playoffs than we are of them

  3. Also Murray needs to get back into his stride a lil. He kinda was strolling doing nothing till the 4th. We’ll be ok.

  4. detroits a good team. clear best team in the east for good reason. damn near mirror game to the game last week.

  5. Jokic Val and Julian only guys who know how to rebound. Watson Braun and Jamal with the combined 4 rebounds…. honestly would rather start Zeke than Pickett next to Braun and Watson. He provides defense and occasionally finds a rebound. Not like the offense is much different between picket and Zeke.

  6. Knicks had a blowout win tonight so all their main guys had plenty of rest ready for the Nuggets tomorrow. It’s gonna be another tough game.

  7. i already miss you so much my linkedin demon, please sign him already so we get some energy back on the floor

overall just way too terrible of a first half and we never got back to average on 3pt%, i know my goat would have had the ugliest corner 3s of the night but they would be nothing but net

  8. Jamal/Pwat/JV the only players with a positive +/-

Welcome your new big 3 of the future

  9. Jokic is a smart guy he will realize the foul baiting doesn’t work against the physical teams. He saw the results of the first half compared to the second half.

  10. That was a pretty good game honestly. We lost on a lucky bounce-in Tobias 3-pointer in a game where we shot bad against the top team in the east.

Probably the best moral victory of the season. Now I’m gonna make some chocolate chip cookies so I can have my own morsel victory.

  11. Pickett doing everything possible to throw himself in front of that trade bullet for Strawther, shoutout a real team player man

  12. Also, I gotta say I’m glad Mal isn’t a foul baiter, like I’m glad he finally got a decent whistle, but ethical scoring is just much cooler.

I mean, if they want to give him 10+ FT a game I won’t complain, but yeah.

  13. My major criticism of this team and former nuggets teams is when the offense goes dry. This will happen to any team of course, but when it happens to the nuggets its pretty glaring as to why.

Its either, 1 a bad lineup which happens whenever jok and mal arent on the court, or in the instance one is but surrounded by the likes of non shooters/spacing. Or 2 when they are on the floor but the ball is not touching both or at least one of them for multiple possessions.

Now granted if Mal is on the court with shitters i don’t expect him to be uber efficient, but when the offense is struggling id rather the ball touches his hands every possession rather than us going 0-5 and him not touching it. Feels like so often when our offense runs dry its because our offense forgets its engines. Allowing the offense and engines to run stale.

  14. people here are annoyed abt jok complaining abt fouls, but when you watch the game it really is egregious, and i don’t know what else he can do to get a better whistle atp

if winning 3 mvp’s can’t get you a better whistle than the other team’s backup center, idk what will

  15. Julian over Pickett please. Julian has been playing quite good past few games and has been more active on defence.

  16. It sucks Pickett is having a slump on the perimeter, but I am glad Strawther played well. That double big lineup actually did some pretty good work, this could be something to consider when facing strong rebounding and interior-oriented teams.

This team really needs Cam’s shooting back, 1-2 extra made threes in the 1st half would have shifted this game a lot more to Denver. Hope he comes back soon.

  17. Just need to make it to all star break at this point get cam back, and hopefully the break is enough to get cb and jokic back to 100%. Never seen an ankle sprain be this debilitating.

  18. Every so often I find myself in the nba sub and it takes ~5 seconds to remember why it sucks so much.

Anyways, Nuggets just need to get healthy and knock the rust off and they’re gonna start rolling again.
