2. I think they should put the Indian back on the helmet, everybody knows they are still Washington Redskins at hart they can still be called the Commanders , the Commanders name comes from Native American. It's just the middle name is Redskins, lol

    Washington selects rb justice Haynes Notre Dame in the 5th round

    Washington traded the 6th pick in the 6th round and the 7th pick in the 7th round to the Patriots for thier 2027 4th round pick

My biggest problem with the name change to commanders from Redskin is my perception of the same type of kooky people that riot in the streets of Minneapolis and other cities are of the same mindset of which i find absolutely intolerable decided for the majority of everyone else. If the name Redskins offended the vast majority of native Americans, then i could accept that, to my knowledge that's not the case. I just can't accept the fact that people t i can't relate to decide for everyone else what is offensive. Regardless of odds i keep my fingers crossed the name Redskins comes back.

15. I love the spear and I love the shield with the W on it (which I believe is what that circle is). They’re like a sort of callback, tying the team back to that winning tradition. It calls to mind “tip of the spear” and the spear and shield also imply offense and defense. And I also like that they are embracing the name Commanders. Like, it feels like Josh Harris is going to actually make this a badass name. And I love that, because turning the name Commanders into something badass with an actual culture behind it feels like giving one last great big fuck you to Dan Snyder’s petulant ass.

When they first changed their name, I created a brand workup using the name Washington Warriors, with the main logo being a Spartan helmet with letters W and R hidden in the lockup, and used the spear as the helmet stripe similar to the San Jose State helmets. It actually turned out pretty sweet, not sure if they would even be allowed to use the name Warriors.

20. Agree on Harbaugh a million percent. Hearing "legendary" "one of the greats" yada yada, and I'm like huh? The man won one Super Bowl 14 years ago. by 3 points, with a two Hall of Famer defense. After that he's been a Mike Tomlin. An above .500 coach with good defenses. And? Nope thats it. So spare me the legendary rhetoric. John, like Mike (Tomlin) is an excellent culture setter. No question. Beyond that he's meh. Hardly an X's and O's genius, scheme innovator or anything else. He's solid NFL coach thats an above average in culture building. And thats it. Doesn't scare me in the least

    The Spear looks pretty bad azz but not crossing a circle with a W in it. Please no. Just the Spear, only the Spear and nothing but…. The Spear – on the side pointing toward the front. at an upward trajectory. That will do if we can't have anything else. Can we please meet in the middle on this one?

    And 5 years is too long. If they're going to do it it needs to happen now. The longer they wait the more likely it's not going to happen. And yes, bring back the true Burgundy and Gold. It goes with the Spear logo. I'm tired of being called the Kethup and Mustards.

22. 1st off love the spear been wanting that for years so if they can incoruapte that into the logo and unis ill be hype, 2nd as far as the Kliff stuff goes people love to hype him up but there's an obvious ceiling to what he's capable of in my opinion, he has a high floor but his offense can get stagent because of how simple and predictable it can be at times espically when your calling so many plays from the shotgun it really hurts the run and PA game. I love kliff for what he help do for us in 2024 but I feel like it was better for us to move on and these other teams also see those flaws and are hesitant to give him a job but wherever he does go I hope he does well just not better than Blough🤣

29. While the uniforms are an interesting topic, the focus should be solely on fixing the team. The logos and name won't win games.

30. Im ok with the name. I like the color of the new helmet. It would be cool to have the spear on the side. That would probably bring the whole DC vibe together with the new stadium

32. I always did like the spear on the helmet. But the commanders name just does not match. Now, if they went with the spear and change the name to Warriors, I think that would be a really nice compromise.
