Let's stop talking about drafting play makers. We need monsters on the lines. The best way to bolster the defense is to protect LJ and have 10 / 13 /17 play drives. Eat the clock AND DONT TAKE THE FOOT OFF THE GAS. BUT, they need to have the fast strike capability, especially in 2 min spots. O-line (guards are the FIRST priority) draft if possible… FA if need be. LJ, with time, makes ANY skilled player look like an All-Star.
Beyond that, you get monsters, COACH THEM UP, in the MIDDLE OF THE D-LINE to push the pocket into the Qb's face (like the Eagles did in the SB against the Chiefs, Maholms didn't have a chance)… the edges, LB's, corners and safeties look like hero's because of the DT/NT BLOWING UP A Qb's rhythm and rushing plays.
