Hope is alright, but my father passed away so we're going through old pictures and found these of my brother and I getting mr. McCartys autographs at Tigers stadium way back when.
Remembering how much of a wing nut my dad was and now I too have inherited the gene.

My father just passed away on jan 10th. It sucks. We watched the wings and tigers together all the time. The memories will be there forever my friend

In all seriousness, there’s one thing in particular I remember about DMac that may resonate with you here. There was an article in the Free Press not long after his dad passed away (from cancer I think) and Darren relayed a quote from his dad that has stuck with me for many years now. His dad apparently told him while he was sick that “We’re all terminal; the only difference between any of us is what we do with our time while we’re here”.
Hopefully you spent some good times with your pop; that makes all the difference.
