13. Hot Take…Jack (and Luke) must go!!!!! Jack is obviously an extremely talented player (when healthy)…however…he's wayyy too injury prone and (dare I say) seems to care more about the name on the back than the logo on the front.

    It wasn’t you gassing us up; you were pretty measured. It’s just that you saw offseason moves were unimpressive but the season started good. Then it just fell apart slowly but surely. I just don’t know the reason but clearly we needed more scoring. We are never getting a guy like Ovechkin or Crosby it seems

15. Watched Keefes post game, probably best one I’ve seen. Basically called out players as mentally weak which is obvious, but at same time thinks his system is working. To me the players are as weak as Keefe is stubborn, either way entire organization needs to change, and I’m going one up everyone, we need our owners to sell. I personally do not see any indication that they truly want to see a championship team so they will never bring in the right guys to get it done. Very sad

16. Hopefully this wakes up ownership. ATP they don’t deserve to be in the NHL let alone the playoffs, gutless, spineless, pathetic effort this year.

17. Team has never recovered from the late December embarrassment of blowing the lead to Columbus and losing the game..losing every fight & basically losing their dignity..the season ended that night.

18. Yeah def pulled the plug for sure watching second period they gave up. I didn’t see the first so not sure what the effort looked like there but yeah they have given up so. Bottoms up gonna need to get a bigger bottle

22. Nuke the whole franchise. Fire Fitz during Olympic break. Let the new GM rework the entire front office. Trade half this lazy heartless core. Can't give up every time Jack gets an injury.

24. I didn't expect a lot this year as I opted out of my tickets and when the season started it look like we may have turned a corner and were on the right track. I wasn't shocked that I was right Jack got hurt and it was an epic nosedive that most hockey minds couldn't believe. It's pretty disheartening as a long time Devil fan but this team is going nowhere fast. I think the only solution is to start over from scratch as this team shows no life at all. I 've been here from the first game in 83 and yes, the Devils were not a very good hockey team then, but they at least gave it everything they had, and it wasn't a lack of effort it was a lack of talent. This is why is hurts so much they have talent and not much effort.

25. It’s not premature to completely rebuild this team. You cannot teach WANT, you cannot teach HEART, you cannot teach COMPETE and CONFIDENCE that all comes from within and the majority of these players don’t have it and never will.

26. The fact that Miles Wood wasn't completely pummeled after running into Marky tells us all we need to know about this team. Also, for anyone saying that some of our players are untouchable, currently, the Devils don't have a single player in the top 50 for points, goals, or assists. Not sure who they'd consider untouchable.

27. Listen..critiquing on bad side about Keefe's after game presser, bs…not weird, reallatity. 1 part of the toxicity of the culture or strive to attain it

28. Its the players and GM who built this group. Unfortunately Keefe will be the patsy. 110 percent agree with Ace there

29. This loss did it for me. Lifeless and pathetic performance. I said the same thing about the Giants, if they could just make it competitive I’ll watch but it’s not even fun anymore.

32. Ace, I have been watching this team since the 2010-2011 season… Freshman year of high school…. This has to be the worst season I have ever seen. I know for the older generations, this season may seem nothing to them, but this team just ripped my heart out and spat in my face. I'm done giving my money, attention, and fandom to this team until changes are made.

33. This falls squarely on Sheldon Keefe and Jeremy Colliton’s complete and utter inability to run an offensive system fit for highly-skilled, fast hockey players. Keefe and Colliton need to be fired. The blue jackets fired their head coach and look what happened now they’ve gone on a heater and are way better than they were.

34. Talking about this as Keefe’s issue is INSANE. This is the same exact team I’ve been watching for the last decade.

    We’ve switched out the supporting cast 4?5?6? Times it’s the CORE. Same results for almost 10 years now. Atleast 2 pieces including Nico need to go. If fitz were to god forbid resign capt. grimace to a 12×8 I will jump off of a bridge. We will NEVER win with this guy “leading” this team.

35. The problem is they won’t feel the money squeeze bc games are totally geared towards “family” and young girls who are fan girling so they will spend the money bc they don’t have a clue.

36. If fitz isn’t gone by the end of the season. I would love to have a fire fitz chant outside of the stadium for the entirety of the last home game.
