  1. Ew. No way dude. Defend? What? I could dribble past vuc. Start? I wouldn’t. He’s gonna pick and pop and be 7 ft tall. That’s about it. It’s a taller, better shooting Garza. It’s fine, but it’s a cost cutting move. The Celtics got worse.

  2. Yeah we got worse common John you know It I can see it on ur face! We all know this was to save money and we ant gonna be happy when Simons down the line becomes a all-star like we really should of figured out away to keep Simons yeah his contract was up but we should of convinced him! Cuz he's young and super talented. Who has a smoother offense? WHO! Seriously name someone with a smoother offense. And if his defense keeps improving like what I was seeing it was facts

  3. As much as I hate to see Simons go, I watched them play the Kings on Friday and I said to my dad and my boy…. "Who loses minutes, if/when Tatum comes back". Im seeing this trade as a sign that Tatum wants in, and again…. I love Queta's mobility, and Garza adds some muscle but they needed size and a shooter and looks like a solid guy who knows what's expected. This traded may… MAY…. be on the same level as a "Derrick White," kind of trade. It could have great potential for a net plus.

  4. You guys are acting as if the Celtics don’t have a history of knowing what to do with these big men, young and old. You honestly think any other team could do with Al at his age what we did? You think any other team would have these young guys looking as good as the do now? Don’t think so.

  5. The Cs technically did not lose anything from this trade except for defense maybe. PP will go back to his old role, replacing what Simons was doing and we get Neemi as primary backup then Garza. X and Boucher have to go. Vuc cheaper too

  6. Cs dealt from a position of strength to fill a position of need, and saved some money and ensured better roster flexibility going forward. Did we all forget that national media felt this would be a gap year in which they might be a play-in team? We are into the “everything else is just gravy” portion of the season. Very solid move.
