  1. At this point MTL should just bite the bullet and keep him. They got the pick for their trouble and if, however unlikely, Laine catches fire at the right time he can win a round pretty much by himself. Without Laine hot streak last year the habs were not a playoff team. They are still stuck with Gally's contract for one more year, then it's really compete time.

  2. What is Kypreos smoking? Firstly, Laine would never resign in Calgary, Mangiapane is absolutely NOT what MTL needs, and Edmonton can't make it happen because we won't retain. The only reason we trade Laine is to move money for another trade. Otherwise, MTL being where they are in the standings, Laine can stay… I challenge anyone to convince me otherwise lol.

But surely there's going to be multiple trade articles on a daily basis by analysts, and so our bro LEGO is gonna beat that drum on a daily basis too. He's part of the team unity, the guys love him, my prediction would be that he is part of our playoff push.

  3. Habs do not have a problem creating goals. They do have problems giving up goals in 5 on 5 and penalty kill. Mangiopane does not help either of those weaknesses
