Surprisingly Holland didn’t completely screwed us.
This is fucking terrible.
We now have no prospects and still a strong chance of missing the playoffs.
I’m so mad at this. We’re on the downward trend and we’re *not* Artemi Panaran away from winning the cup. God dammit, I was looking forward to Greentree playing for us. At least it was only a 3rd and Greentree, it’s not overs.
Bracing myself for the pending extension news. 🫣. We’re more than a Panarin away from being a serious contender, so I really don’t get this move.

I don’t understand why people are mad at this trade on our side. I think Greentree is a great prospect, despite a down year. We also didn’t have any leverage at all. I’m overall happy with the return.
Uhhh…when did Adam schefter become an nhl source?

Out of nowhere trade. I did not expect him to be a King
Hard to hate on this deal. Greentree seems like another middle six prospect (which makes him more expendable then a true top prospect)
We are in full re-tool mode for the foreseeable future given the commitments to Juice, Fiala, Byfield (& hopefully) Clarke. Now we add pieces around them.
Our rebuild didn’t net a truly elite talent pool(like the other California teams, or the Sabres) so we are firmly in the re-tool universe. Not ideal but not sure this market is ready to tear things down again & start all over again. But yeah…also means it’s hard to see the Kings as true Cup Contenders anytime soon.
Good player but he won’t make much of a difference. The Kings are trash this season, this is just lipstick on a pig, unfortunately.
I hope this makes our games more entertaining, but that’s a good moveÂ
