  5. Love this for us. Ochai has the potential to be a solid role player. He’s having a bad year after his career best season. Hopefully he can reclaim some of his form.

  6. Ochai is worth a flier if we didn’t give up anything major. He fell out of the rotation in Toronto. Last year, it looked like he fixed his shot (shot 40% from 3) and he started a bunch of games. This year, his shot sucks and he’s not playing. We’ll see if we can Demarre Carroll him, and if not, thanks for the 2nd.

  7. Easy Fleece, but this is why we shouldn’t have guaranteed Martin/Wilson’s contracts to have extra cap space not needing to waive them to make trades like this.

  11. I would laugh every time I saw a Raptor fan who thought they could get Day’ron for that guy and a couple of 2nds, he just got dump for nothing.

    More trades to come or someone will get waived? They’re up to 16 players.

  13. Not sure why I’m seeing the fan base still thinking the nets are sending in sharp. The deal isn’t final but once you get the tweet that what it is. Seems bucks/cavs have interest in cam. Not sure if you can waive ochai or maybe the lakers want him for some seconds

    I watch the draft religiously, every year.

    Many trades (as you all know) happen on draft night every year, as the draft is moving along.

    Do you folks know how many SRPs it takes to move up in the second round while the draft is actively going?

    The price is your current SRP this year, plus two future SRPs.

    The Nets have the currency to move up to those crucial first 5 picks of the second round (where FRP talent always drops and now you can have them for second round salary) every year if they wanted to.
