Who else remembers losing their mind 6 years ago?

  1. I was cooking dinner with my wife when I got the notification. I was so amped. I was praying that it wouldn’t just be a one year deal like with Machado. When he signed the extension during training camp I couldn’t believe it.

  2. I was so depressed after the gut punch endings to the 2017-19 seasons that I was irrationally afraid the entire 2020 season was going to be cancelled due to COVID and Mookie was going to bounce as a free agent without ever playing a game in a Dodger uniform.

I will NEVER take these glory days for granted lol

  3. I remember where I was! At a steakhouse by myself on what I didn’t know would end up being my last overnight stay for work for the next two years.

  4. This was one of those trades where you remember where you are and what you’re doing at the moment! Just surreal!

  5. I’m going to be honest I was like “idk who Mookie is but kinda glad we’re getting rid of Price” 😅

  6. I had just put my daughter sleep when my phone went off. It was second best news i heard that day. First was hearing from the pediatrician that my son was doing well inside my wife. She had been feeling nauseous and dizzy the week prior.

  7. My daughter, the Red Sox fan was so dismayed by this trade. Don’t know what they were thinking but hallelujah! I love watching him play!

  8. LA was still in shock over losing Kobe the month prior.Mookie was truly the spark the Dodgers needed.

  9. Remember COVID delaying the start of training camp and the season, and people legit thought Mookie might never play a game as a Dodger for a minute.

  10. I definitely remember the 3 rings after this deal lol. I also remember in 2020 in the NLCS beating Braves down 3-0 and watching Mookie play a big role in the series with doing a lot like robbing a hr. Great trade.
