Apparently Vasy plays as a righty goalie because it was the equipment that was available when he was growing up, but yeah he is lefthanded. What shocks me is Cooper didnt know he was a lefty seemingly given the post game interview 😂 (Info from watching block parties)

A lot of old school Lefties were forced to switch as kids just because of the lack of availability of equipment. I use a righty hockey stick, golf clubs, and bat as a predominantly righty. But throw and write as a lefty😮 But most of us are also ambidextrous.
I REALLY wish this particular season wasn’t being interrupted by the Olympics. The Bolts are red hot right now.
The worst “secret” ever kept is “I didn’t know Vasy was a leftie.” He’s literally been telling everyone he’s a leftie since coming into the league. 😂

Gonna cry like a little baby when our Phil is no longer with us. How lucky are we that he picked Tampa to bring hockey to Florida. A legend calling the team he built in a game against the team he played for.
