Looking back at Ben Johnson’s debut season, ahead to what’s next | 1920 Football Drive

Relive the Bears’ Divisional Round matchup against the Rams at Soldier Field, where they gave a performance that was a reflection of a team that believed all season long and fought until the final whistle. Then, go back to the beginning during Ben Johnson’s first days as head coach and see how that belief became the foundation for success. The offseason brought key free-agent signings and draft additions that helped shape the roster, setting the stage for quarterback Caleb Williams’ growth from the start of the offseason through the playoffs. Along the way, hear from general manager Ryan Poles as he shares his vision for putting the right pieces in place to build a championship caliber team during the offseason. All this and more in the Bears’ 2025 season recap episode of 1920 Football Drive.

  1. Always have said when the bears are better, it just makes being a bears fan that much better. This year was one to remember. While this team as a whole won’t be back, the foundation is set. Future is bright.

  2. I still get goosebumps watching that TD throw to Cole , unbelievable season , soooo many amazing highlights and memories , thank you all for this season 🐻⬇️

  3. LET ME SAY THIS ! THE LAMBS DIDN'T BEAT THE BEARS , CHICAGO BEAT THEMSELVES , WITH SOME BALLERS BEING IN THE WRONG PLACE AT THE WRONG TIME , AND DROPPED PIGSKINS . THAT SHOULD BE CLEAR TO EVERYONE WHO THOUGHT THAT THE LAMB BEAT THE BEARS !

  4. I'm still bummed. This type of season wasn't supposed to happen so soon, but it honestly felt like the Bears were the chosen ones with how games went. Wish it wasn't over for this season

DO NOT move out of the Chicagoland area. Illinois get your s**t together and keep them here.

  5. Ben said it all. The Rams defense earned it and they were damn lucky for Caleb's RARE turnovers. Okay, I said that part. The Bears would have beat the Seahawks and they would have been playing next Sunday. By the way, it breaks my heart to hear the trade rumors about D.J. Moore. That man played his tail off every time he was asked to. He blew off concussion protocol before that last play and probably shouldn't have. I hope he is kept with his contract restructured.
They will win the NFC North for at least the next decade. Book it. Bear Down!!

  6. These 1920 episodes always get me pumped! Even with the loss I’m still amped up for the future and the ambiance music at the end added a real great touch that solidifies what it feels going into the off season this year. Having such a successful year and not making it to the big game only makes the staff, team and fans want more next season.

  7. All the fans really leveled up as well!!! It was great to see the energy the 4th phase brought!! Let’s try to bring that to the road this year!! even if you can only make it to one road game, those of us that don’t live in Chicago, let’s try to have a traveling 4th phase!! Three games with the rivals, three games in the southeast, a game in the Pacific Northwest and a game in upstate New York!!

I believe in all of us, and hope that we can all bring the noise next year for all 17 games!!

    CLAWS UP/BEAR DOWN

  8. This year gave me hope , and now ik our coach is good . No more blaming players , because everyone looked good . I’m truly glad we are looking like 2006
