I hope AD and Trae workout for the Wiz-ards, and they make the playoffs next year! There's no reason the trade can't be a win/win for both teams.
I'm just excited to finally get rid of AD and move on! Plus the cap space, getting out of the 2nd apron, plus the draft capital (even as limited as it is).
We have our future, no doubt about it star in Coop. We're losing at a good rate, and will have a minimum top 10 pick this year. And if we make a couple more smaller moves (Klay and Gafford), we'll have cap space NEXT YEAR!
We can finally start this rebuild, and it may not take as long as we initially thought

I liked hearing fans be excited about trades just for the pure basketball of it all! So much trade talk is money-focused and I (personally) could not care less. It was nice to hear just some animated, fun, easy-going convo.
The Mavs had to get rid of Anthony Davis listen Anthony Davis at this point in his career at best will maybe play 30 to 40 games in my opinion he should just retire. He’s just too injury prone. They had to move on from Anthony Davis and I still think they need to move on from Kyrie Irving y’all going to know why once he comes back all in all I like the move for the Mavericks I don’t think the wizards are gonna like the move for Anthony Davis in the future.
Washington about to have a better record than the Mavs next year. I do not understand why we (Mavs) fans are happy about this
good trade for both teams, A+ for the wizards and a climbing C for the mavs. wizards gave up virtually nothing and can afford the gamble because they own their 27 pick. They can pivot from AD if it doesn't work but if it does they can be a sneaky good team in the east. On our side we have ALOT of cap space and dumped just about every deadweight player on our roster. If we get a good pick in the draft and a decent signing in the offseason we can pivot back into having a solid roster but in order to change our grade from a C we have to capitalize on this new found cap space, freeing up cap space means nothing till you show what you can do with it so in my mind this trade aint complete for the mavs yet but theres alot of potential.
AD will never play over 50 games in a season
