In case anyone doesn’t remember, Tanner Howe was the Pens other 2nd round pick in the 2024 draft. Unlike Brunicke, Howe has already played 4 full seasons in the WHL so he was eligible to make the jump to the AHL this season.
He got injured during the WHL playoffs last season and needed surgery to repair his ACL. He has been rehabbing and practicing with the WBS team and has now played two games (1G-1A).
He had great chemistry with kindel. Cant wait to see those two in action

Genuinely think this is a guy they should give a cup of coffee to in March. Especially if he’s gonna be a PPG player through February.It’s gonna be a brutal schedule after the Olympics.
I know some of these kids are gonna be tweeners and not on the team for long but to have all these players to be excited about is so cool. Howe, brunicke, koiv, Zonnon and the other kid, Pickering is still down there cooking, Murashov and blomqvist, plus plenty more with energy like Broz. What a fun time.
