  1. I consider myself a die hard.. and I’ve no idea who this guy is or when he was here.

Who did he work under and how was he?

  2. Biggs was on this!

Good hire. Experienced RB coach (25+ years) who has worked with some big names. He also doesnt seem to be a “poach” candidate in the future.

Ben continues to impress me with the hires he makes, unlike the wet napkin Eberflus.

That leaves OC & Asst GM to be filled..

  3. The fact that he’s survived so many regimes is probably a good testament to how valued he is. Worked for four head coaches in Denver (McDaniels, Fox, Kubiak, and Joseph) and three of them in Miami (Gase, Flores, McDaniel), and even his first stint with us was under both Wannstedt and Jauron.

  4. He spent the last four years as rb coach under McDaniel in Miami. McDaniel is one of, if not the best, run game designers in the league. Studesville wouldn’t have lasted there if he wasn’t very good at his job.

  5. It’s an easy time to be a Bears fan and like everything uncritically, but think this is a good hire in the Bienemy mold in that he’s been around, has some pelts on the wall in terms of success and had a higher position of associate head coach and oc at his last stop.
