  1. Just when we were getting our hopes up, and it’s the 8 year anniversary of our first SB win 😭😭😭

  2. If this is Mannion wanting his own people, I can’t believe the organization capitulated on one of the greatest position coaches ever for some 33yo fly by night nobody. I want that guy gone.

  3. Ffs. I hope this is more to do with the fact that he’s 63 and is calling it a day rather than some internal fuckery with Sirianni and the new OC.

  4. Let’s stop overreacting. We wanted change and this is part of it. I trust Howie and Jeff Luire.

  5. Dude had nothing left to give this org. It’s so rare in the salary cap era to have a team’s identity be built around a position group for as long a period of time as it did. Wherever we go from here this really feels like the end of an era for the franchise, especially with Lane probably retiring soon.

  6. The dude is in his mid 60’s and was probably a step away from retirement after the last Super Bowl win. Which was only 2 years out from having lost one.

This 2022-2026 stretch for the Eagles has been intense in terms of the highs and lows. I don’t blame him for deciding to step back, whatever the reasons are. He owes the organisation absolutely nothing at this point. He’s a legend and should be revered as such.

  7. Outside injuries problems we have had the best o-line over the last several years. All thanks to this man. Hopefully they find someone with the same tutelage. Best wishes in retirement and any future endeavors!

  8. I’m as sad as anyone but it’s the NFL, nothing last forever. Today it’s Stout, tomorrow might be Lane and next year I’m sure it will be Fangio. We have a great owner/GM and I trust them to keep the ship moving in the right direction.

  9. His wife was posting on her Instagram literally TODAY how they were at the doctor because the off season is when they get those things done

  10. Dang dude it really feels like it’s a new chapter in Eagles history now… I’m glad he’s still with the org to guide the team.

  11. The offense has very simple for years and people have been clamoring for more modern offense. Whether people like it or not, having a new voice is necessary to make those changes.

Stout is part of old and simple offense. I do not think he’ll be able to learn that offense in one offseason. The question for me , will Sirianni can adopt as well? Because i feel like he’s a part of that old offense.

  12. How many fans do you think can name their oline coach without looking it up? Because every Eagles fan can. We don’t win 2 SBs without Stout. Saquon doesn’t set records without Stout. Kelce doesn’t get into the HoF (its inevitable, we all know it) without Stout.

An incredible legend. Unfortunately, all good things must come to and end. It sucks, but I’m grateful for having the goat oline coach for this long. Yeah, maybe last season was a bit rough, but he’s still the best to ever do it.

  13. I said it a few weeks ago and I’ll said it again. Nick and KP should’ve been shown the door together.

  14. Knew something was going on when they took his run calling abilities away and now the new OC is bringing his whole posey with him. O-Line wasn’t in good shape anyway last year but he’s a legend regardless.

  15. Some things just run their course and, in my experience, good things sometimes just come to an end. Hopefully the culture and discipline he instilled carries over.

  16. He worked his ass off to build dominant players, only to see them misused all season. That would take the wind out of my sails as a coach.

  17. If O Line coaches could go to the Hall of Fame Stoutland U should be at the top of the list.

  18. I was not having a good time when I heard the news….

I’m still not having a great time.

Take care, coach. You will be missed 🫡

  19. “What a run” doesn’t even begin to encapsulate how wildly transcendent this man was at his job.

He turned dry dirt into top-10 diamonds more times than I can recite off the top of my head. I’m not sure there’s a single rebuttal in the history of pro football to him being the unanimous all-time o line coaching GOAT.

  20. This is on sirianni and by default it’s also on that fraud roseman for keeping that clown in the building

We’re about to fall off a cliff by October, with no clear future plan
