  1. at least we get a big out of this. if this is the only thing we do it’s a fucking disgrace

  2. how many games has he played in atlanta? he’s hurt every other game 😭😭😭😭😭

  3. Expectations: Giannis, TM3, MPJ

    Reality: Kristaps Porzingis

  4. It’s better than nothing!

JK was going nowhere fast with us, and Buddy had lost all his confidence.

We’ll see, but we needed SOMEthing.

    Wonder if we’re done. . .

  5. At lest we got some size finally. Now let’s see how many games he can play from here on out

  6. what the fuck, why? didn’t I just recently hear something about this dude having a serious chronic condition that may jeopardize his ability to ever play a significant number of games again?

  7. On paper, a big man that can shoot would fit perfectly on this team, but there’s no way he’ll ever be fully healthy for us

  8. Good night. Pretty much confirms Giannis isn’t getting traded + Draymond is staying. 8th seed at best for the rest of Steph’s career

  9. That is some dogshit trade. Poor Steph man.. guess that means Giannis is officially off the table too lol we’re so cooked

  10. I gotta hand it to Dunleavy, he actually managed to find a trade that NOBODY on this site was asking for among all the ridiculous bullshit people have been spewing over the past few months

  11. Steph’s later years are resembling more of Kobe than Tim Duncan. And a lot of it is due to front office goofs. But hey they made a move.

  12. Lmao yikes. Porzingis probably will barely play anyway. At least the Kuminga saga is finally done I guess.

  13. yo warriors fans as a hawks fan how should I feel about this?

For yall at least, get ready to see a new name in the injury report

  14. Wardell Stephen Curry,

We are so sorry. This is not how any team should treat their generational superstar. I have no words.

Golf will be waiting for you in your next athletic career.

  15. a healthy tingus pingus would have made steph + jimmy a deadly squad but sadly

but those games where tingus pingus will play will be goated

  16. I don’t mind it. He’s a good fit when he’s healthy…. issue is “when.” 17 games this season, but maybe the past month of not playing is partially because of the deadline? Wishful thinking, probably.

$30M expiring, hitting UFA. Assume they can bring him back on a decent contract giving that POTS shit and how little he’s played the past few years. Maybe it helps clear up room to retain Melton? Hold off on re-signing KP until you iron out a deal with Melt? Should inherit KP’s rights, so they aren’t really restricted by dollar amount. Then again, that may not work, cause they’d have to likely use the full MLE (if not more) on Melton, and then you’re dealing with apron hard cap shit.

Sucks to see Buddy go, but he’s really struggled this year so the split makes sense. JK, at least he’ll finally get some run, hope a fresh start does him well. The ball will primarily be in Johnson’s hands, but he’ll definitely have more freedom to play over in Atlanta (if that’s where he stays through the deadline?). Wish the both of them well. Sucks it didn’t work out here, they seem like great dudes. Gonna miss Buddy’s goofy ass, but at least we’ll always have that Game 7 vs the Rockets.

Hopefully they pull the trigger on another few deals before the deadline. Wish they had done this one a couple days earlier and also snagged Vit, but I guess that likely would have cost some draft capital (and wouldn’t have cleared up a roster spot for Pat Spencer?), and they were definitely still holding out hope on Giannis (can we finally lay that pipe-dream to rest?).

Honestly don’t mind the trade, better than standing pat. If he’s on the floor, he provides some much needed size and floor spacing, and genuinely fits well with Dray (or a healthy Butler). But yeah, 17 games this season. Unless his medicals are clean and they’re confident they can use him over the next 30ish games, I guess it’s more of a trade with next season in mind?

So, they’re gonna have to figure out an extension, and then they’re banking on a guy who has played 57 games (won a chip), 42 games, and 17 (+whatever more he plays this year) these past 3 seasons? Really gotta be optimistic about in his health, or have a plan for the money saved re-signing him for cheap (…or letting him fall off the books completely, but I doubt they will since it’s JK’s salary slot which they hung onto so dearly). Add in Butler and his ACL rehab, that’s a pretty huge gamble to take, but I guess JK and Buddy were pretty much DNPs until Jimmy’s injury, so fuck it. Old, injury concerns, but yeah, the fit ain’t bad on paper if you can find a way to get them all on the court.

Feel like this means Dray is staying, but who knows. Looking forward to seeing what other moves they fold into this, and I guess what they end up doing with this 2026 1st (potentially fringe lotto? lol) and the off-season as a whole.

Still have all their 1st round capital, definitely have some wiggle room to swing another deal of some sorts. Don’t have JK to try and swoon someone with an upside swing, but it’s not like he was generating a ton of buzz with how this season had gone. Could even get wild and reroute KP as a pure $30M expiring by tomorrow, do have the 1sts to attach (…I feel like they traded for KP to play him, whether that’s a smart risk to take, we’ll see).

  17. Honestly, KP’s game and size is literally perfect for us, but he cant stay healthy at all.

  18. his contract is expiring… any chance we’re trying to clear up cap space for this summer? i’m going to be completely honest and say since the new apron bullshit NBA free agency has been too complicated for me.
