17. The reality is the falcons don’t know what they have yet because he hasn’t played enough. You don’t get better by being hurt and sitting on the bench. The falcons have this year to figure it out because at the conclusion of the 2026 season and before the 2027 season starts the falcons will have to either sign him to an expensive FULLY GUARANTEED fifth year team option or he becomes a free agent after the 2027 season.

35. Why is ANYONE ignoring the reality of Penix's 2 bad knees & his lack of playing under center in College? Penix was already a statue with 1 bad knee & knee brace & now he has 2. If people really care about Penix they should be telling him to think long and hard about the FACT he has a lot of life ahead of him & whether or not it's even worth risking more damage that could cripple him.

36. The Falcons with Kirk Cousins over 22 Starts, 12-10 & 7-3 in the NFC SOUTH! It was the STUPID decision to bench Cousins & then Start Penix 4-8 & 0-3 in the NFC SOUTH in 2025 that led to a 3-7 Start before the acl injury. Cousins came in & went 5-2 over the last 7 & further built chemistry & made Kyle Pitts look good while missing Drake London. If the Falcons were SMART they would KEEP KIRK COUSINS for a couple years to get whats left out of him & then maybe move on to Penix.
