  2. I think Pistons should make a bigger move. If they don’t, there’s a possibility they could find someone on the buyout/waivers but who?

  4. If they could do some sort of trade with Saric, LeVert, and maybe Sasser that would be great. However if there is nothing available along the margins, I would say just buy out Saric.

  5. My question remains they are in a fine position to do what? Is it to just win a playoff round? Is it to take advantage of a weakened East and make it to the Finals? If Detroit stands pat with this move are they built to come out of the East? Celtics and Cavs got better and they have more experience in the playoffs. The Knicks are starting to heat up they primarily beat Detroit because they did not have a secondary scorer who could consistently create a shot for themselves or others. I was puzzled by the move for Huerter but the more I see him before the injury the more I'm convinced of how perfect a fit he could be if his shot returns. I agree with Ku Detroit is still short in shooting from the PF position. Opportunities like this season don't come along often to assume that you going to be in the same position next year is dangerous. Celtics, Cavs, Knicks, and Magic will be better next year. Maybe not the Knicks but my point is take advantage of what could be something special and stop being conservative. So what you thought the season would be just improving slightly and winning a first round match in the playoffs would have been an accomplishment. The team is infinitely better than that so as a President/GM adjust your expectations. Go get a MPJ and give this team a real shot to get to the Finals. The Pacers did it and they were only stopped by a major injury in the Finals. Do what it takes to take advantage of your success. Scared money don't make money ask the Lions, Tigers, and Wings. Internal development alone is overrated. I do not want to see a bunch of 4th quarter leads wasted again in the playoffs because nobody but Cade can create a shot. Detroit is getting away with it right now in the regular season. It's been happening all season despite their success. The playoffs are a different story. Just my thoughts.

Do your job homie. I remember seeing a new game reaction video of a game on my feed not a week ago when we had already played another game.

  9. Do you think Klintman can contribute to a playoff run more than Saric if he is healthy? I do not. I do think if it’s about salary for another move it makes sense to trade him, but I would rather have Saric than Klintman.

  13. Kevin Huerter, Duncan Robinson, and MPJ would be fire! We’d have all of the shooting that we need to bring it home. Gotta make this happen. Ship Levert, Dario if we can, and one more player (I love Tobias so I’m on the fence about moving him), or a 1st rd pick. Just make it happen. I like the Huerter trade though. Ivey was not happy and it showed. He was never gonna be a starter again.

  15. If 2 of LeVert, TrashCan and Tobias are still on the team this deadline is a failure. It's clear shooting (most notably in the front-court) is the key weakness of the team, and you do have expiring contracts + picks + available trade targets that are gettable. If this team flops in the playoffs, it will be because of the lack of shooting. It's one thing if you're locked into this squad financially & you can't make moves – it's another to be apathetic and not address a weakness everyone has identified from game 1

  17. Yes, Kevin will make sure everyone has a towel when sweaty and a cold Gatorade when thirsty.. and of course when Cade needs a seat he'll get up and move so Cade gets a nice warm seat on a cold, Detroit, winters night.

  19. @lockedonpistons ku you gotta look at it like this, all his years he was shooting well he had a playmaking point guard. Inn Chicago their best playmaker was out alot (Giddy) now that he has a playmaking point again he will be a good shooter again

  21. Dire warning – Langdon’s picks are what Weaver is currently trying to figure out down there in New Orleans. That there in itself is a frightening thought.

  22. Yeah I don’t think our GM has relationship with others in the league. I seen some good players go to expiring contracts. If nothing he had an expiring contract. Ron was the best of 5, Tobias was already a Piston, he did get TH and Green. Dennis feel to him after being waived at the end . He has not done 1 good trade yet. Troy did draft good, and got us Stew and Duran extra.
