If you told me at the beginning of the season we would be 3rd best team in the League at all star break, 18 games above 500, and have done this without Wemby for a buncha games. I would have laughed.
We won and got out healthy. We all knew deep down it wasn’t gonna be a blow out
“Regardless of the game tonight” – bro stop it. I don’t blame the spurs ONE BIT for playing down to their competition. It was the OKC’s scared bitches fault for ducking the smoke. The thunder injury report screams “this finna be a BORING game” and it was. It deflated all the motivation and excitement of our guys.
Imagine their 5 starters and 5 more key role players were out? If I was a spur I’d be lazy to play, too. Who the hell would be excited to play barnhizer?
The important thing is we get the W and went 4-1 against them. It’s not like we haven’t beat them when healthy anyway? We did 3 fucking times. Now all we proved is that okc are a bunch of cowards.
1/3 of OKC’s loss was handed by us LMAO
Bro, this is me every time I look at the standings with the Spurs in 2nd place
I check the standings and the spurs are still no.2 and its all good, plus den and hou lost today.
We are 2nd seed and people are losing their minds even after a win
I guess folks forget that a bench unit of a championship team thst goes 12 deep in their rotation could be good too. I am also of the view that Mitch and the coaching staff was pulling out the most random shit to keep some strategies in their pockets. Iso reps are also not a bad thing if crunch time hits and you need an actual Iso play.

I want to see Spurs / Thunder WCF… Nuggets / Thunder WCSF
Happy to see the gap between us and nuggets getting bigger. We have more room to make mistakes in the second half of the season after allstar break.
I prefer Nuggets to fall to 4th though. I prefer to battle only one of Okc or Nuggets in the playoffs.
A win is a win at the end of the day…
Ideally situation would be keeping 2nd, Nuggets falling to 4th & having to face the TWolves in the first round. Then we get a home court advantage against the Rockets in the 2nd. Would think we would have a decent chance of getting to the WCF then, which would be way ahead of schedule.
