1. I wish someone would explain why they can’t go back to the classic helmet with Chief Two Guns- there was no controversy over that. As far as what the NFL will allow- my question is doesn’t the NFL staff work for the owners? I have a hard time believing that if the ownership group wanted to bring something back (with the possible exception of the Redskins name), they couldn’t make it happen after paying $6 billion for the team.

2. Last season was cursed and I 100% believe it was because of those SB era jerseys. Stay as far tf away from all Native American/Redskins vibes possible. 2024 – conference champ appearance. 2025 – back to dumpster fire. LET IT GO.

7. I think the absolute closest they can come to "marrying the past with the present" is:

   1. Update the logo to whatever I saw today

   2. Make those spear jerseys your main ones

   3. Similar to how the Titans where the Oilers jerseys a couple times a year where the Redskins jerserys a couple times a year.

9. WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG. THe WORST part about the team IS the name. I wasn't even excited about the super bowl era Jerseys. THe jerseys I didn't hate except the burgundy ones. Thhe white and the Black are good. We just need a better BRAND. The old uniforms don't move me especially the burgundy and yellow striped socks. Do you guys not realize the team stopped using the stripes in the early 2000s. Clinton portis and those boys wore the Burgundy pants with burgudy socks. Like we rocked last year in the playoffs. But man whatever, I know you can't always get what you want.

10. Love the Spear logo. But we need to change the name. Commanders is a retarded name! Either go back to the Redskins or something close to that. I always thought Warpath would work. But will never be Commanders

11. I like a single spear on each side of the helmet and the two crossing spears and the roman shield in the middle with the W in the center for a logo.

14. The more they flirt with their racist past, the more i flirt with leaving this fandom and team behind. The concept of something being offensive is so beyond y’all’s ability to grasp because of tradition. The old name sucks. You’re just used to it because you grew up with it. You’re not actually mad that Dan renamed the team to Commanders. You’re mad that you are being told that you can’t say the old name anymore. Most NFL team names are not great but you’re used to them so you’re not whining about those being that. Personally, I wouldn’t care about offending this right wing ass fanbase. Win games and people will show up regardless of the team name and what the jerseys look like.

15. Way too much going on with that new look i would rather roll with the W for a while as much as I hate it. it looks better then that new creation would ever look on any helmet. What they have now is decent what they need to do is bring all the indigenous tribes to the table and have a long respectful talk and negotiate something to not offend and get the old name and logo back on the field it represents well was meant to respectfully represent the native American people. HTTR. HTTC .

16. I'll always love the Redskins in name and look, but I appreciate them giving the Commanders a less generic feel. The rebrand was done hastily, and felt it didn't have much thought or care put into it. This feels like they have a visual direction for this team and that matters. What we are called and look like matters despite those that say "just win". There is something to a name, and while I will never care for the "Commanders" as the name of the team, it's here and its seemingly will never go back.

    I am glad they are mixing the past in with what we have now. Doesn't feel as disjointed. I love the Super Bowl Era helmets way more than the regular and black helmets and wish those become our default. I am down with the spear on the helmet and jersey along with that color scheme for that particular uniform. I could also do the shield with the 'W' in the middle on a helmet too. The Greco-Roman theme is cool. I don't think that new logo works on a helmet, but in gear would be neat.

    The 'W', as joke worthy as it is isn't a big issue for me, but them doing more with what has been established is welcomed.

20. I think that circle is a Greek shield. The shield and crossed spears motif appears multiple times throughout history symbolizing a warrior culture.

32. A spear logo with the name "Commanders" makes about as much sense as anything else this franchise does. Spearchucker Stadium sounds about par for the course for an organization that gets everything wrong in perpetuity.

44. That stupid W logo has to go. It's the worst in all of sports. Fans would accept a logo that's similar to the old single spear but with a new name. They say they have accepted Commanders inside the building but they are completely out of touch with the majority of the fanbase then outside the building who will never accept Commanders as their brand.

I’m down with the spear than go back to the Super Bowl era jerseys at home than away jerseys make red jerseys white pants and replace the all black uniforms with the all white uniforms they had let’s face it the name sucks an he’s right that synder cloud hovers over with that name John Kiem said it right on his podcast when the team changed they did a whole overhaul nothing looked like the old team so I will say ever since Harris took over at least he’s trying to get back to the teams old roots as close as he can
