The way you structured this, you’re making it seem like Ken Holland is the one issuing this apology.
😂
sacrifice the future for a piece when we aren’t 1 piece away from contending?
nah screw this deal. can’t wait to overpay a 35 year old.
I’m in shock
far be it from me to praise the direction of the team, _especially_ with who’s manning the bench, but honestly not the worst bit of business from his tenure. helps a lot that bergevin left for buffalo (lol) and that panarin basically shoehorned the rangers into sending him here, but puck luck exists and maybe it’s just a manifestation of that? idk.
i still hate having to watch ceci and dumo eat up minutes more than clarke so much. at least perry’s been worth it and armia’s good. just don’t trade for evander kane and i think we’ll be okay.
Agree. Even with all the apparent leverage (as Panarin ONLY wanted to come here), i still expected Holland to utterly fuck this up. I fully expected to be the bottom on this rape exchange and am shocked we seem to have gotten through it with our rectums still in one piece. Color me pleasantly surprised.
Kenny, I take back an unconditional 25% of the bad things I said about you, with another 25% contingent on the terms of the extension. So far… color me impressed.
The dude wanted to be here, Ken didn’t overpay (I liked Greentree quite a bit), NY retained salary, and Ken signs him to a reasonable extension when numbers like $50 million were being tossed around…?
Even if you don’t agree with the direction the team took, it’s a pretty impressive set of moves for old man Holland. We shall see how it goes.
Now, hopefully, the Kings make the playoffs and give Kopitar a decent to good exit arc.
TBH Breadman forced NYR into this situation. Wasn’t so much Holland, it was the fact the Rangers had no other options.
He didn’t. The guy had a full movement clause and was only coming to LA… that’s like playing on story mode.
And Breadman WANTED to come here which I feel is big news
