It’s official, the Avalanche have the worst power play in the league.

  1. You mean to tell me that:

“pass -> stand around and wait for everyone to adjust -> pass -> stand around and wait for everyone to adjust -> pass -> broken up -> chipped out”

    *repeat*

    ISN’T working?

    I’m shocked.

  2. Last year or the year before they tried MacK at the point and had Makar ripping clappers from MacKs wall spot. They should do that again lol. In any case, needs to be more movement. Pass pass pass but 0 movement with the puck to get the D roaming and open up opportunity.

  3. I’d rather be the best team in the league with the worst PP than the worst team in the league with the best PP.
This is still so far beyond unacceptable that it’s not even funny.

  4. Loved Johnny’s comment last night about how early season they were complaining about it, then switched to “look at where we are now”, yet didn’t continue because it’s still terrible.

  5. Sharks broadcast last night was joking about it. ‘I guess when you’re the best team in the league, fans need something to complain about’.

  6. Best team in the league and officially the worst power play on the league…. Think how good of a run we could have if we actually figured out how to plan with a man advantage….

  7. This is honestly mind boggling how you can have that shit of a powerplay with guys like Makar, MacKinnon running it and having someone like Nelson ready to shoot while Nuka or Lehky battles it in front of the net. Let’s trade for Laine so they actively need to play Laine out while Makar and MacKinnon do their magic (jk)

  8. ” I know we were getting booed, I guess they (fans) don’t really know what a good powerplay looks like.”

  9. “I know we were getting booed, I guess they don’t really know what a good power play looks like” – MacKinnon, October 2025

Lives in my head rent free.
