Drouin is fast becoming the Anthony Volpe of the Isles. I saw him live Monday and recall at least 2 chances he had to get a decent shot off and did nothing. Ritchie and Duke had good chemistry before Cal missed a few games. Don’t know why you don’t keep that going and let Drouin watch a game.
I think Duclair is a good player and it pains me to see this

Duclair is a very streaky player and does tend to dissappear for long stretches. I understand that Drouin isn’t scoring goals but he is a good face off guy and is way better defensively than Duclair. I hope that Darche picks up a young scoring winger at the deadline that will take the place of both of them.
Glad to see Ritchie back! As for Duke…ugh. I don’t care if Roy wants to play it tough, but the inconsistency is maddening. Barzal and Duclair have played great and Roy treats them like they’re on probation every night. Meanwhile Drouin can do whatever he wants and faces no consequences. I like Roy but this favoritism is loathsome.
duke literally had his best game (maybe of his career) against the devs 2 weeks ago, this makes NO sense
This is making me kind of hate Roy. I don’t even LOVE Duclair like that, but he was playing well with Ritchie/Barzal and Drouin is dogshit. Sit that overpaid loser and play Duke instead.

Zero reason for Gatcomb, Drouin, or Maclean to be dressed over Duke. Terrible move by the coaching staff here
I’m confused about why they didn’t keep Dobson? Did they get the Shaefer pick in tha trade?
He did not back check in the 1st period of the last game and was benched. This scratch is a wake up call…again. (Hopefully).
Didn’t Duclair have an 8 game goal streak end just a game or two ago? I saw Roy benched him last game or something and I’d love to know what he did this time.

Would rather scratch Heineman. Guy is -8 on the season worst on the team, 1 point in 11 games 8 in 36. He’s struggling
Duke is 6th on the team in points and 5th among forwards. He is literally a top 6 forward despite his inconsistent deployment/TOI. Droning is 11th on the team in points and is 9th among forwards. He was also was also directly responsible for a GA last game and is still getting playing time. Roy is losing the plot.
A Duclair vs Drouin debate is mind-boggling at this point.
It all revolves around what player do you want? A floater who might chip in a few goals here and there or a 200’ puck hound who’s been snakebit for 75+ days?
Personally, it’s Drouin all day. Duclair is a fine player but Drouin has a better top end all the way around.
Well this is not a surprise after the lack of ice time for Duke this week. I don’t get the reasoning, but I’m not the coach so whatever.
It is criminal how palat is given the top line instead of heinemann
