As a 9ers fan living in Melbourne, this is the best news ever
I’ve been to two Levi’s games and that is a long way to go for a game. I’ll still have to fly from Sydney but one hour rather than 14. So I’m happy to get to see the boys again. Go niners.
With the size of the MCG, this will likely be the largest attendance of a gridiron game outside of North America.

Cool, two teams in the same state in a game that would normally be a short travel day even if visitors, now are travelling the furthest away any NFL team has had to do. Couldn’t it at least have been like a West Coast team vs east Coast team so that a super long travel day replaces a long travel day instead of a super long travel day replacing a barely travel day.

I don’t know how these athletes manage to play on the other side of the world with only a few days to adjust to the time zone. I had such bad jet lag when I went to Europe that I couldn’t sleep for a week, and I was getting headaches and stomachaches.
