He’s not worth what he wants, plus he was great scorer on a team with bad scorers last season, now they don’t even want him. Offense without defense these days means nothing.
Why??? You want yet another guy that needs the ball in his hands to do anything? He doesn’t provide anything other than hero ball scoring, is hideously inefficient when he does it, is a career 34% shooter from 3, has a 30% usage rate, and thinks he deserves a max deal when he very clearly does not.
Jeff Teague was absolutely right when he said Thomas should have taken the deal the Nets offered, that it was a big mistake not to take it, and exactly WHY it was a big mistake not to take it.
