  1. I gotta say… this didn’t excite me when the rumors came out and it still doesn’t excite me.

  2. Damn I feel like we have so many guards. I like him but I don’t want our other guys to lose their minutes fr. Except clarkson but he doesn’t play anyways when we’re healthy

  3. This was the move I wanted them to make all year. Helps with point of attack defense, keeping the effort going, and moving the ball if Brunson sits.

  4. Didn’t really want him because we’re full of small guards, but we only gave up Yabu and 2nd rounders so it’s whatever

  5. and Bad Bunny performing at the Super Bowl?

y’all Puerto Ricans feastin’… save some pernil and gandules for me.

  6. This shit means something to me! 🇵🇷🇵🇷

  7. Leon trades at the trade deadline >>>>> Leon trades in the off season.

Dude is batting 100 in trade deadline trades so I’m optimistic this is gonna work out and fans will love GTA.

  8. This is a real playoff type of move. We’ve been on the other end of pesky annoying guys like this a lot over the past few years. It will be fun to have one of our own.

  9. Pels fan here,
    Absolutely devastated.
    Please take care of him.
If you like Hart’s spirit, then you’ll love Jose.

  10. Pels fan here. One of the best culture guys you could have, super hard worker, absolute bulldog. I’m sure a new environment will rejuvenate him and you’ll see him play like the dawg he is. We’ll miss him.

  11. I expect one thing from this man in the playoffs. Annoy the shit out of and stop Cade Cunningham. That’s his fucking assignment.

  12. Back in the day I wanted Carlos Arroyo on the Knicks, all these years later I finally get a fellow boricua on my team! Lol

  13. Even ESPN agrees it was a good move. Not that it matters, but they gave the Knicks an A for this trade and the Pels a B. Crucially, it helps them financially down the line, too:

“Down the road, the Knicks will benefit from having full Bird rights if Alvarado declines a $4.5 million player option for 2026-27. With [Mitchell Robinson](https://www.espn.com/nba/player/_/id/4351852/mitchell-robinson) due a new contract as an unrestricted free agent and [Mikal Bridges](https://www.espn.com/nba/player/_/id/3147657/mikal-bridges)’ salary jumping by $8.5 million in the first season of his extension, New York is unlikely to have access to the taxpayer midlevel exception if Robinson returns. That meant the Knicks would have been limited to signing free agents for the minimum this summer. They can pay Alvarado any amount if he opts out.”

  14. Hey folks- Pelicans fan here, but I am officially a Knicks fan.

Not that most of the league doesn’t know, but Jose really gave it his all in New Orleans. My kids favorite player in the league.. he always made it a point to give kids a little attention and was just such a competitor. You guys really, really, picked up a good team player in Jose. Just wanted to pop in and say congrats, underrated trade because there’s lots that he brings to the table behind the scenes, practice etc. he always brings it, always. Anyway, go Knicks.

  15. Getting players that are real New Yorkers like this guy gives us a chance to resign them. NY is in his veins
