  1. Sauce as a cover corner is A+, but it’s a team game and winning is all that matters. He got traded because he can’t tackle and didn’t force turnovers, and you need those things in conjunction with good coverage skills to win games. So, the colts overpaid and now we try and improve the pass rush and overall floor of the team to try and tally wins in the ultimate team game. Anyone who hates on sauce the individual is crazy. He is any amazing player who was on a horrible team. Crazy to say but the jets made the right choice to trade a player in hope of improving the team.

  2. What a moron, teams know all you can do is guard a receiver. They just ignore your receiver every play and then run the ball at you because you can’t tackle. If all he has to do is pass coverage then he would be fine but that’s not how football is played. If teams can game plan you completely out of the game by simply ignoring you, then you’re not that good

  3. Great player, loved watching him here, gotta take 2 first rounders given the situation. Hope he does well in Indy starting in 2028

  4. Loved Sauce. Eye test, he didn’t look good last year. Is he correct about the actual stats, probably. He still terrible when they run his way and if he makes a tackle in the open field to a pass thrown to a receiver he was not guarding it will be his first.

  5. I genuinely wish the man the best (outside of games vs the Jets, of course). Special player that we’ll definitely miss, I really hope we nail the picks and I have hope for AD.

  6. Never got the hype. Never saw him have a good game, can’t believe he gets away with Pi every time. Rubbish at tackling and Ints.
So glad we capitalised on trading him out for more draft picks.

  7. Did I hear that right? Was he grateful for jets fans talking about his positives even during bad runs of play ?

  8. Fair enough. I didn’t think he was traded because of poor play, I thought he was traded because the return was worth it in the long run, especially considering how much we were paying him on the new contract. Hope he does well in the future

  9. Love how he made Shannon his b… in this. And he didn’t even clap back. Good job Sauce!

  10. The mental gymnastics that is displayed here is impressive. You ain’t that good, son. Just because you gave yourself a shitty moniker doesn’t make you Neon Deon.

  11. His targets against need to come with some more context. A lot of teams weren’t in passing situations against the Jets more often than not

  12. He’s a great cover corner(whos a bit too handsy) but I also think he’s one of those cases where the stats and grades dont paint the whole picture. His tackling(or lack there of) is a downright liability and he doesnt force turnovers. He also just never felt like a guy you could rely on in the really important moments.

  13. I get Revis gets brought up any time talking Jets corners, but Sauce doesn’t belong in any conversation with Revis.

Revis is all-time great…arguably best to ever do it kind of great.

Sauce is maybe top 5 right now in the NFL…maybe he can be compared to Aaron Glenn lol, but he’d have to start tackling and picking the ball off

  14. Sauce is very good in coverage. His ball skills once the ball is in the air not as good. Still a great corner

  15. I don’t have the numbers in front of me but it also seemed like the last year or so refs got wise to some of his grabbing that was on the edge of PI, where he wasn’t called as much year 1 or 2 for whatever reason

  16. Always an excuse from this guy. Elite corners don’t have to tell everyone how elite they are.
