Yeah I’m happy because before the season I thought we were going to suck for 3-5 years and then compete. But it seems like we’re fast tracking that. Were a good hockey team but not great

Not for sorokin being in god mode since the beginning of November, isles are nowhere close to being this high in the standings. They go as far as he can
2 more points on the Devils/Flyers/CBJ and maintaining our lead on the Caps going into the break is huge. There will be time to catch the Penguins, and I firmly believe that we will. But we don’t NEED to catch them to make the playoffs. Maintaining a cushion over the cut line is paramount.
