7 points, and 13 points last night, He's playing like trash, but at least he owns it. Meanwhile, the coach is out here saying, "It's been the case since I've been here," about him instead of taking any responsibility.
One, you've been an incompetent coach ever since.
That post-match interview was the last straw-I've never been more done with this guy.
At least be there for these players during their tough times.

Isn’t his ankle fucked up? Why do they keep playing him
Here’s the link.
Good interview… but he and the coach keep talking about playing harder. Playing harder is one thing, but have proper game plans, being able to adjust and playing smarter are what’s missing.

Alpi you are a great player. Take all criticism as motivation.
Ime is wrong blaming players in front of the media. I think he wants to quit.
Taking accountability is one thing, but addressing the real issues another. Alpi should’ve mentioned that the team has no real game plan other than trying hard. He should’ve mentioned how KD felt threatened by him after a couple of great games in the beginning of the season. KD has to accept he is Jamal Murray of this team and Ime better come up with a proper gameplan if he doesn’t wants to get fired
Roosh Williams a moron
Alpi needs a coach who knows how to use him as the main facilitator on offense. I know he brings the ball and milks the clock at postup most of the time but it’s not his fault. There is ZERO offensive plan and no movement from the other 4 players at all…
Playing harder is one thing but basketball is much more than that. You need spacing, you need offensive sets, you need creative freedom which I think Ime and his staff lack in all those departments.
Houston’s gotta make a decision this summer. Either they should fire Ime and bring someone like Mike Malone who knows how to handle a point center or just trade Alpi to let him reach his full potential elsewhere. Even though he is a finesse player, I think Alpi’s done a good fucking job at adapting himself to Ime’s physical, solely hustle dependent game. He improved his defense and got physically strong but his offensive capabilities have been extremely restricted under Ime. If you don’t believe, just go watch Turkey’s Eurobasket games and see it for yourself. National team coach built the whole system around him and the results are there.
TLDR; I’m waiting for some radical changes this summer.
If we had any clue what we were doing we’d sit him 2-3 weeks and let him fully heal. He’s playing so bad and just making his ankle worse.
I’ve seen a lot of people in this sub suggest Ime is not that great of a coach. What makes him so bad? Genuine question, i always thought he was considered one of the better coaches in the league.
