  1. Let’s hope it stays this way. If we’re gonna suck for this long we better finish it out.

  2. If I look at this list, Canucks, Rangers and flames have already started to sell.

It would be a disservice to the franchise if we didn’t follow suit. I know we traded Bjugstad, but we need to do a lot more. This team is too talented on paper to continue to tank naturally (in my opinion).

I know Doug has pride, but he’s gotta set up steen to succeed.

  3. I’m so hard to get the Stenberg bros together. Hopefully Steens Swedish influence lets us get him

  4. This is all before we got on a 20 game win streak next month that leaves us out of the playoffs but drafting #16 overall

  5. Worried about when we’re back after the break and healthy. Winning just enough to still miss the playoffs but fuck over our draft pick.

  6. I know I’m probably in the minority here, but I don’t want a full tank. Dump the rentals, sure. Any more than that, you run the risk of forming a loser culture, which can take some time to get rid of. And you may ship everyone off and still not get a top 2 pick, or your sure-thing pick ends up sucking.

I don’t even know if the current meta favors a hard tank from ownership’s POV. It is an absolute killer for attendance, and it can take years to get the fans back.

All said, I’m still rooting for a bad record the rest of the way. Good draft position would be wonderful if we could get it without a multi year rebuild.

  7. Don’t worry though with the first pick being a totally random lottery the Blackhawks will be be picking first. This was totally random

  8. Blues will do a classic make a run for it after the break and then finish middle of the pack….. it’s going to suck.

  9. As a North Dakota fan, I hope the Blues give Verhoeff a good look in this draft vicinity! Been loving watching him play. We could use a homegrown defenseman and he is breaking a 50 year record right now for points by a U18 defenseman with 17 in 22 games.
