Given the fact that Dansby hasn't been the same since he hurt his knee and had a hernia and you can't count on Bregman staying healthy at his age after an injury plagued season and Busch can't hit left-handed pitchers and Nico has no power, the answer is no.
One of the best if healthy! The best has to be earned! Bregman makes the difference!
One of the best maybe..But are they gonna beat anyone is the question. Are they gonna be Philly? No. Are they gonna even beat the Brewers. With the best farm system in the league im sure they have a few surprises for us.
The pessimism in these comments is annoying. This team is objectively better than last year on paper. That's all we can talk about at this point.
Can't say they can't or won't in regards to anything: health or performance. You can only talk about the quality and history and stats of players.
Can't say Bregman is injury prone because of last yr when there's zero other evidence of that.
Can't say Busch will not hit LHP next year when it hasn't happened. Each year he has progressed so why can't he progress against LHP. Rizzo had the same problem until he was allowed to do it and learn.
