Can we just consider him “former guardians pitcher” at this point?
and was in Cy Young discussions in 2024. just imagine how good he’d have been if he didn’t rig pitches in a quarter of his appearances
No reason to “hate” someone like this. I’ve moved on. He’s an idiot. It’s still a nonviolent crime and the only reason people care is gambling. Not going down that path, glad it was caught. Go Guardians!

So if/when he gets convicted, can we remove his name from the record books? I’d rather see the all time saves go back to Cody Allen and not this clown.
This guy was getting ready to earn a statue, a HoF induction, a number retired in the stadium, to absolute ultimate disgrace to the game of baseball.
I dunno about you all, but it really did feel like something was off. It’s not like it was a premonition of what was to come, but if he was spiking pitches and getting behind the count, in ways they just felt off, it’s not too surprising In hindsight.
I just can’t understand how you work your whole life to be this good – just throw it away doing something so incredibly stupid.
One of the most talented players I’ve seen as a fan of this team, but he just couldn’t stay out of trouble. I almost forgot he began his tenure with an 80 game ban for PEDs. Some people can’t help themselves
