Personally I wouldn’t pay 38M for a pitcher that throws intentionally at his own catcher 🤷♂️
the Tigers need bats. the orioles have extra bats. trade some of the young orioles bats that are blocked anyway for Skubal and then the Orioles can spend $350 million for 10 years on the best left hander MLB has seen in decades!
Valdez is not an injury risk! Skubal is. That's why they chose Framber over Tarik.
We need More Bats ! Go Tigers !
Too much money for a selfish, poor teammate player. Now trade Skubal to the Dodgers 🤡
For those outsiders thinking this signals Skubal is on the way out…..Nope. Tigers will play the season with Skubal/Valdez as 1-2 top of rotation.
Good anaylsis
This talkin' head doesn't get it. If Harris wanted to give Skubal the money he deserves he would have months ago. We picked up Framber at this AAV because it was the highest he was willing to go for an ace.
The moment those arbitration numbers came out I knew Skubal wasn't here beyond 2026. But hey, hopefully it'll be a hell of a season with these two monsters.
Who offered him 30-35 million?
we have the pieces to trade for an impact bat at the trade deadline during the season, and we have a couple kids who could join the team midseason, Clark-McGonigle. the lineup on opening day will not be same the lineup during the playoffs. Tigers are in a good spot, even with Skubal heading in to his walk year.
