It was called the “Gatorade Dunk”… and I have a Giants pennant from the 1986 SB run that says “Gatorade dunk… one more time!” There were pins and shirts with that too IIRC… the dunk was going on pretty much the whole season.
This was how I became a Giants fan at 7 years old as a kid living in Oregon. I thought it was the greatest thing ever. (It was)

Anyone know if this is true? The NY Rangers fans invented the “Let’s Go Rangers” chant? I mean the Let’s Go(fill in the team) chant.
I never heard that before and in other sports I started hearing it…after the Rangers won the Cup.
