Glad the Spurs didn't trade for the sake of making a deal for what would be a non needle mover….
Already reported that Middleton is not getting bought out
I think Spurs gonna cut Bismack Biyombo
Just trade/waive olynik,biyombo,waters,Mclaughlin,sochan first
If we can get Chris Paul back, that be great
We Will Need A guard Stopper for the Playoffs, Luka ,SGA,Ant…. Let Sochan do his job . DEFENSE. ..Where does all this impatience come from? , CUZ they ask him to play Center … Ugh. We will need him in the playoffs … Go Spurs Go đŁ
RC BUFORD IS GOD STUPID
Honestly Mitch just play bro đ€Šđżââïž
Does Sochan not find ANY minutes in a Spurs uniform? Really? Surely…?
line up should be
fox / castle
harper / carter bryant
vassel / kj
champaigne / barnes
wemby/ kornet
The only reason Fox seems to struggle sometimes is because Mitch is forcing this ridiculous tandem starting PG thing with Castle. Fox is a better PG than Castle. If he had full run and didnât have to share the positions with Castle, there wouldnât be a problem. Castle needs to swallow his pride, play the 2 and let Fox run the offense. Itâs too confusing for everyone to have two PGs.
Secondly, I donât know wtf the problem is,, but Sochan needs to play. He works well with Wemby and is the tough, defensive presence they need when the opposing team is getting physical. Mitch needs to figure out how to use him. Itâs insane to let him rot on the bench.
Cant we just get L-A back he would be perfect for us at the PF đą
At this point wtf would Biyombo deserve a bench spot more than Chris Paul lol.
Cut him and make cp your 15 spot. If youâre not gonna play that spot much at all get a guy who was there before who can mentor your young guards. And if he plays heâll be still better than what biyombo will be. And Iâd rather play him at guard than Jordan mac
The problem is , we have a very expensive bench , sochan and olynk! If we are paying them for the love of God play THEM Mitch! A 10minutes each will not hurt 2nd and 3rd quarter and thats it !!! Right! Specially barnes is all brick for the last 2 months and juju is still inconsistent we can USE sochan and olynk ! Im not saying there are the messiah or anything but we are paying them so PLAY THEM
Barnes and Middleton huh đ€
Na thereâs a piece missing but let the playoffs show it. I would guess another solid big behind French vanilla
You ask about Fox. Crystal balls get cloudier the further into the future you look. No way can I say what will happen in 3 to 5 years. For the near future, this season and next, I don't see Fox being traded. Our three-headed guard monster works pretty well right now, and Harper improving does not threaten that chemistry, IMHO. Some people say Fox's numbers are down from Sacramento so he's not worth his contract, but I think he is worth every penny. He doesn't HAVE to handle the ball and score as much as he did before because of all the guard talent. He is a steady hand, a veteran who can push that throttle forward when needed, or stay in the background and let the other guys grow and learn. He can adjust where he expends his energy based on what the team needs in the moment. He is a safety valve and that is his value to the team.
How about we focus on getting our lineups set and forget about trades and buyouts.
I rather have Cam over Kris . Cam can give you buckets that we donât have on the team
No, just no.
Spurs need someone who can shoot 3s or defend against 3s. Middleton doesn't add anything to the roster.
Sochan is a cancer to the team and has zero value to trade him. During the Orlando game he didn't dress for the game, there was a timeout when he was on the court face to face with a player who was entering the game, a couple of Spurs bench players had to pull him back to the bench. Get rid of him now!!!!
Sochan has a ton of potential and is as close to a reincarnation of Dennis Rodman one could ask for! Also, he's another young player that will stay loyal if we invest in him! He's got đ„ hustle.
I'll be thankful that when Sochan is off the team, people won't believe how bad his offense is until he's gone. I'm sure he's not a bad person i just do not trust his offense at all.
Khris is so washed, he already got folded and put away in the dresser.
David Jones Garcia had season ending surgery, I believe on his ankle. So odds are the Spurs do not have a full 18 man roster. I do t think they havenât waved him yet, but it would be irresponsible to not fill the spot with how far the Spurs will make it this season.
Man, it was like thirty games or something into the season before all three guards were healthy at the same time. It is great for a team to have three starter level guards, regular season and playoffs. As long as they have salary cap room, unless a top level 3 and D wing can be had for him, Spurs should keep Fox. To have a starter level player come in off the bench to face bench level guys from the other team can win lots of games, it is what the Warriors dynasty did with Andre Iguodala.
We donât need Cam Thomas but Kris Middleton would be a nice pickup. We can easily cut someone like Waters III, Biyombo, McLaughlin or Ingram to make room for him.
I like Fox as our starting PG for now with Harper backing him up and eventually replacing him. Castle and Vassell need to split time at SG. I like KJ and Bryant splitting time at the 3 with Champagnie getting minutes at both the 2 and 3.
Now the question is who to rotate at the 4. Barnes and ?. I like Wemby and Kornet at center. We only need a solid 10 man rotation. Everyone else is just bench depth that can be called on needed based on matchups.
Barnes is our small ball 4 but we really could use a 6-10â or taller, athletic scorer at the 4. Thatâs all weâre missing I think – a Jaren Jackson Jr type player. Heck, bring back Mamu and continue to develop him.
It's pretty obvious that if the Spurs decided to or needed to waive someone, it would be Bismack Biyombo. Whatever else the guy is besides a great locker room presence, he simply cannot play the center position in today's NBA. It has passed him by. If you need a 3rd or 4th string center for some reason, just place Sochan!
Let's trade the people who want to trade Fox instead! De'Aaron Fox is a top 5-point guard in the NBA. He is playing exactly the way the Spurs brain trust wants him to. Whenever he wants he can take over a game. He is a fantastic closer & was the NBA steals champion just 2 years ago. He also won the NBA clutch Player of the Year award in 2023. Unfortunately, the Spurs are grossly under-utilizing him. He should be the lead guard (point guard) every moment he is on the court. He is that good and is a much better point guard than either Steph Castle or Dylan Harper. He is also the fastest player in the NBA and thatâs worth a lot in a league that values speed and athleticism. I suspect the developing the other point guards at the price of Fox deferring experiment will end when the playoffs begin and he will be the number one guard as long as the Spurs remain in the playoffs.
They can release biyombo
Let's just get through the playoffs. We'll make adjustments next year because the lesson we learned from the playoffs will be more important in addressing our current shortcomings
Forget Middleton I'll take Marvin Bagley instead if Dallas buys him out. He's a decent post up player, rebounder and a long arm defender Spurs can use
i think cam thomas behavior is context based, when were the nets even slightly competitive with him? never, put him on the spurs or okc, he will play the right way. taking a half season swing on cam? count me in, i mean, we got mclaughlin on the team, is he any worse?…..
Everything just shifted with this… What ? with the fact that nothing moved sine 6 months??? nothing has shifted right now, don t recommendate this channel i m tired of non sense title and 10 min of nothing concrete , never again
I have a feeling they are purposely tanking Jeremy's value so they can play with the upcoming salary and tax aprons. I might be wrong, because this is straight up unfair to Jeremy. and not playing him lately only hurt his trade value, making trades including him as key piece impossible, it just doesnt add up. Also, Jeremy's body language while being sidelined doesnt show signs of frustration even if he's yet again DNP. If it does unfold like this, then SAS is playing the NBA. To be honest, as a spurs Fan, id rather they let go of Jeremy if they dont have future plans with him, OR they really have to treat him well upon re-signing him for all his sacrifice in his young career with the organization.
A lot of talk for nothing shut up bro
Middleton you not serious bro
We will see fox's true worth during 4th quarters of the playoffs. He will be clutch for us.
