  1. Im a mavs fan, and the day Luka got traded i said 'you watch mavs get a top 3 pick'. Professional sports is a business 1st. Not some fantasy land where every team gets a fair shot. 😂 Draft has been rigged for decades. Lets not play pretend. At some point every kid learns Santa isnt real.

  2. These Euro players should start teaming up like these Americans. Let Luka, Joker, and Greek Freak team together. And this is from an American born and raised in VA

  3. ami the only one that still thinks it was set up and dallas got coop BECAUSE of this trade that was forced on dallas by silver/the nba

  4. Pundits having to pretend the Mavs got "lucky" lol… there's no real lottery anymore, a group decides the draft order behind closed doors.

  5. "I don't care how good that kid from Slovenia is" ~ Stephen A., who famously pushed for the Suns to get Ayton over Luka.

This guy is a clown. Why do people keep listening to him? The guy predicted NBA Finals incorrectly 6 times in a row. From a guy who supposedly analyzes sports for a living, his hit rate is terrible.

  6. Only argument is if you argue the business side of things. Yes, Luka was beloved in Dallas. But he is injury prone too. Doesn’t play defense. Cost a ton of money. Strictly talking x’s and o’s it wasn’t as bad as it is made out to be.

  7. The "brother" (Nico) thought Jrue Holiday and Nikola Jokic are at the same talent level. Anyone who thinks so, let alone say so should be fired on the spot.
So, no the "brother" is decidedly not a "wiz" of any kind and should be kept away from any basketball or sports related employment.

  8. Ive noticed that most fans don’t want parity.

    Everyone says they want balance.
What they actually want is to be on the right side of imbalance.

The moment a team you like becomes dominant, the complaints stop being about fairness and start being about “greatness.” I get it, it's not hypocrisy, that’s fandom, but let’s not pretend it’s principled.

  9. People forget that Nico also stripped the mavs of their future so they don't have the assets to surround Cooper Flagg. it would be like the Giannis situation. if you're gonna trade luka at least get 5 lottery pcks out of it. who's to say Flagg doesn't leave the mavs when he gets the chance. that ownership is clueless
