Please stay for one more year AJ 😭

AJ Brown says he's fortunate to be part of great leadership in Eagles locker room, says he's excited about the new season, and new coaching staff.

  1. Maybe that’s the deal he made. We can’t trade you this year because it’ll mess up the cap stupendously. Play nice for one year and then bye bye

  2. If he’s all in, then I’m excited. What we cannot have is another year of disgruntled AJ.

  3. It’s funny 60% of the fan base was bashing on AJ last season because how he was acting about the offense even though he was right and knew it was shit and needed saving.

  4. I don’t blame him for being annoyed with the shitty offense. But, if he had legged out a few more plays and caught the ball when it was thrown to him, that 1,000 yard/ 7 TD season would have pushed a lot closer to a 1,200 yard/ 10 TD season.

  5. Would love to see AJ give it one more go with a new scheme! Can’t make me hate him. Already a top 3 WR in Eagles history imho.

  6. I agree that the public display of frustration is unnecessary and it shouldnt get to that point. But the criticism of AJB for having the balls to voice his frustration was weird to me. I dont know everyone in the world but the people I do know typically bitch and moan incessantly about their jobs/bosses.

I dont find what AJB did to be that wild or unexpected. In fact I usually am proud of the people who speak out. Better than fake smiles and compliments for someone in a position of power who is horrible at their job.

We wasted a prime SB worthy season for what? Someone’s feelings? Pathetic

  7. Can’t wait till we turn the page from last year. I’m so looking forward to this new offense.Ā

  8. ā€œChangers arent always badā€ – i know its a nothing burger statement, but i’ll cling onto that for some optimism

  9. I mean unless he restructures his contract I doubt we can trade him unless we get some crazy draft picks. The dead cap is wentz level.

  10. At the very least he’s gotta be excited to not have Patullo designing and calling plays

I wanna see our guys have some fun.. Last season was brutal for our offense

  11. AJ went out of his way to mention Kevin Patullo in a cordial matter; maybe we have it all wrong here….

KP was thrown into the OC role that proabably even he had reservations about; AJ’s comments throughout the year where we thought it was toward KP may have been actually directly toward Nick(perhaps KP had plays spcifically for AJ, but Nick vetoed them?). Then when AJ snapped at Nick during the wild card game it may have been the boiling point for him because IF Nick was indeed calling plays they totally sucked.

  12. Sorry AJ. The fans on the eagles subreddit have already decided that Nick drove Jeff Stoutland out and destroyed the entire team by doing that. Thanks for the opinion though

  13. Unpopular opinion, I don’t give a shit that AJ performed poorly in the WC game. We should never have been in a position that those plays could have made or broken our season

  14. All the AJ Dropped passes people are cherry picking because Smitty and Goedert had drops as well. You can’t be only MAD at him. The whole offense was BAD.

  15. I am interested in seeing how AJ does in this new offense. AJ knows that he would get many more catches/yards/touchdowns in the Shanahan offense that we will be using. Top receivers in that offense get 1700 to 1800 yards per season and AJ was pissed that he wasn’t being used well. So let’s give him a chance this coming season to see what this offense can do.

  16. I’m glad he said this out loud. Maybe now the gossip sports reporters will quiet down a little.
