Except our owner bought a theater *and* fleeced the Red Sox.
The really sad part is that at least Frazee wanted to do something with the money. Johnson just hoards it away, presumably so he can dive into a vault of gold coins like Scrooge McDuck.
Everyone here knows that Johnson isn’t going to just dump his own personal wealth into the team when he has around 30 other partners in San Francisco Baseball Associates LLC, right? Johnson owns 25-26% of the team, and any additional investment would alter ownership percentages or create debt for the organization.
