  1. I love this moment. It always amuses me that there is a dog pile of people fighting for the ball but it didn’t even land in the seats. You can see the woman pick it up from the top of the bullpen and at :13 is trying to tell people to stop fighting for it cause she has it in her hand.

  2. Was there. Vibes were not great after SD went up 3-0 on Yama’s early struggles. This was the “game on” moment.

Edit: before this HR, you could hear rumblings in the crowd of “here we go again,” after the prior two seasons of being knocked out early.

  3. I love this so much for so many reasons: it’s Ohtani’s first postseason appearance, this run tied the game, this run tied the game against the Padres of all teams, the sheer energy of the bat toss, and the icing on the cake is Joe Davis’s call. I have this call memorized. I love this moment so much.

  4. I recall this was the moment where I felt like we could win it all – cutting through old trauma.

  5. The Dodgers were pushed to elimination both years, and came back to win in 2024 and 2025.

  6. It wasn’t a bad pitch either. The ball was like 5-6 inches out of the strike zone n towards his weaker hitting zone.

  7. This moment showed the difference having Ohtani on the squad compared to previous years. He’s proven to be clutch and comes through when he’s needed most. We’re so lucky to have literally one of the GOATS on the Dodgers.

  8. 1. The bat flip was bananas from usually stoic Ohtani.

    2. I love how everyone is climbing under the benches looking for the ball, and the one lady is just holding it like, “it’s right here, dummies.”

  9. That will woke the team and fans up, after doomering thinking it be another first round exit.

  10. Was there and lost my voice after this hit. Entire stadium rocked louder than I’ve ever heard

  11. I was at this game and recorded the two pitches before he hit the home run… it was still a great moment and for sure the loudest I’ve ever heard Dodger stadium sound in person
