Having those picks would allow us so much flexibility to go out and get 1 of these luxury players while still addressing the roster needs. If Achane is available it means that Miami is going to tear it down & start again, and I agree a 3rd & Swift would likely get the job done & maybe a conditional mid-late round 2027 pick. You nailed it Swift is a good RB paid at the appropriate level, but Achane is younger and in the elite level of RBs.

21. #Bears thoughts on Austin Booker and his development in the defense, I have a lot of faith in him and think he can be really good which causes me to believe we shouldn’t get a edge in the draft and instead stack up D tackles and I feel like drafting a young edge when he is on the team is just a waste, thoughts?

He was calling Jordan Love an overpaid $55 million a year garbage QB that makes huge mistakes at the end of games and went off on the time management, delay of game calls after a timeout was called and called him a choker in big moments of the game… You gotta watch it Harrison, Cullen and the gang. 33. If the Bears traded for Achane, it could completely unlock the offense. He’s a Gibbs-like player for Ben J—maybe even more dangerous since he’s faster. The possibilities in that offense would be wild.

34. Harrison always likes to skip over big details. Swift will be a Free Agent after this season and Poles doesn't want to re-sign him. Travis Etienne has A LOT less carries than Swift. Plus in 4 years as a starter. Etienne has 0 fumbles. It would take about $8-9 mill a season to sign Etienne. 3 years $27 Mill to sign. Achane would be great with Monagai. But he's going to cost more than Etienne. About 3 years $11-12 Mill per season. Plus about a 3rd round pick to trade for.
