I’m just confused on the fans tht have RJ as this untouchable piece in a trade … the raptors need to make sure to bring spacing 3 and d guys out this offseason, to best utilize Ingram and Scottie , till tbis day, Ingram has never played on a good shooting team , he still has another gear to hit, and it would also make Scottie damn near unstoppable

13. Y but not for two unprotected firsts. I'm surprised Danny Ange isn't on the hot seat considering he's been in rebuild mode with lots of picks for a very long time. He seems to be much like the rep Masai had when it came to trading/overvaluing assets. That attitude can lead to stagnation and missed opportunities.

14. This makes no sense to me. Why would Toronto make an offer for him at this time? We needed a big now, not next season. I guess the answer is that because he’s an RFA at the end of the season there’s now very little hope of getting him, but I still don’t follow the logic of adding him at this time. Personally I don’t think he’d be a good fit anyway, so I’m not unhappy that we didn’t get him.

I did say "I would be looking at the Jazz" the day before trade deadline (seems like B-DuBBs and me are on the same page often (first CBM – now this) – I didn't mention Kessler however, simply because he was hurt and didn't know the Raps were looking such long term. But being a RFA, a sign and trade for RJ going into his final year is looking likely plausable. The Jazz have lots of bigs, and also want to win next season – just have to find a trade for Jak. Which shouldn't be too hard if he comes back soon and plays like his old self.

    Kessler is a shot blocking beast. He'll occasionally shoot the 3 but at a low clip, like 25% with only 40 or so attempts made. Considering that this is only his 3rd year in the league he can still develop into a serviceable 3 point shooter.

35. Yes. Going after Kessler is a good move if the money falls into place on the team. It will be ok to go into the tax next year with a more complete and competitive team but only to the 1st Apron. Cheers!

37. Jackson jr won’t do anything what a bad signing . Should have got sabonis for poertl, dick and a first round pick. Sabonis averages 17 points a game and 11+ rebounds a game he’s the best rebounder a game. And he averages around 4 assists a game, he can make plays too.
