  1. Lockout was already likely after the Dodgers last couple off-seasons… now there’s another piece to it with this arbitration non-sense. Tigers trying to pay Skubal $19m in arbitration but Framber gets $38 🤦🏽‍♂️

  2. I think it’s terrible, absolutely disrespectful to Skubal so kiss him goodbye yall just burned that bridge for a toxic cancer who throws at his teammates when he’s upset. So yep sure definitely great upgrade from skubal NOTTTTT. Holy overpay for someone like that. When could have used that on skubal. Stupid move.

  3. We paid Eduardo Rodriguez. We paid Jordan zimmermann. We give out big contracts often. It's just to the wrong people. Hopefully this doesn't end up like the past. I'm just curious to know and I don't care about any else's opinion. I wanna hear your specifically where the hell you think that we're supposed to add any bats with Vierling coming back healthy he was a top 100 hitter in baseball in 2024 per savant metrics. We're already given up on Jace before he even really got a chance we got multiple prospects knocking on the door. We already have guys playing four different positions a game. I just don't see where we had a bat the offense just needs to stay consistent and not dip like it did last yearbut we don't really have room for anybody to join our lineup and if you're not a Vierling believer you should be

  4. I'm thinking this is a move to try and go for it all this year. After that arbitration crap I don't see Skubal staying with the Tigers even if they want to try and pay him next year. Someone else will want to pay him more, or even if the Tigers try to match it he'll choose a team that didn't disrespect him like that. They're going to try to just ride out their pitching staff hoping to win a WS, maybe they trade him if the wheels fall off before the deadline, but I'd be truly shocked if Skubal puts on a Detroit cap after this season.
