Is the Tyler McDonough era upon us ? Probably not. I don’t think anyone is excited about the current options but even with the theories mentioned I don’t see an immediate “fit”. Really it’s just folks trying to get clicks before spring training starts. I certainly don’t expect to see a significant development for an “impact bat who plays 2nd or 3rd” until the trade deadline and wonder if that’s the game ..”meh eff it, massive platoon and see if anyone is available by mid summer”
